Built something with vibe coding? Read this before going live
Your app works. But is it ready for real users? Security, GDPR, and the checklist you need.

Your Vibe-Coded App Works. But Is It Ready for the Real World?
Vibe coding has changed everything.
Tools like Lovable, Bolt, and Base44 let you describe what you want in plain English, and out comes a working app. No expensive dev team needed. No months of waiting. Just describe it and watch it come to life.
If you have built something with these tools, you should be proud. Seriously.
But here is the honest truth that nobody talks about enough: there is a massive gap between "it works on my screen" and "it is ready for real people to use."
Think of it like building a go-kart in your garage. Fun, impressive, and it definitely moves. But you would not drive it on the motorway without brakes, mirrors, and an MOT.
So what does your app actually need before going live?
The Checklist Most Builders Miss
Security. Most vibe-coded apps have serious gaps right out of the box. Your database might be readable by anyone who knows where to look. API keys could be sitting in your code for the world to see.
GDPR compliance. If you are in the UK or serving anyone in Europe, the rules apply to you. Privacy policy, cookie consent, data handling. Getting this wrong can mean fines in the millions.
Scalability. Your app runs fine when it is just you testing it. But what happens when 100 people hit it at the same time? Or 1,000? Serverless architecture handles this automatically, scaling up when you need it and scaling down when you don't.
AI configuration. If your app uses AI, and most vibe-coded apps do, you need proper rate limiting, fallback handling, and content moderation. Without these, a single user or bot could run up a massive bill in minutes.
Automation. Every manual step in your app is a step that can go wrong, get forgotten, or slow things down. Proper automation lets your app run itself while you sleep.
From Prototype to Production
Your vibe-coded app proved your idea works. That is the hardest part done. Now it is about taking that working proof of concept and making it safe, reliable, and ready to grow.
We built our Vibe Code to Production package for exactly this moment. Security audit, GDPR compliance, serverless hosting, AI configuration, automation, and API backends that make your app mobile-ready.
You built something great. Let us make it unstoppable.
Tool of the Week
Lovable
The vibe coding platform that just raised $330M at a $6.6B valuation. Describe what you want and Lovable builds it. Perfect for prototyping and proving your idea works.
